TESTIMONIALS

I am a lady who believes in keeping check on my health.  Over the years I have had mammograms.  Each year I would receive a letter stating that I had no cancer, nor were there any signs of cancer.  I regularly examined myself.

In 2021, I received a letter saying that my breasts were dense which could cause cancer.  Well, I didn’t feel that was going to happen.  I forgot about the letter.  In 2022 I received a letter saying my breasts are heterogeneously dense, which may obscure small masses.  Later I received the news saying ‘highly suspicious for malignancy.’  After receiving biopsies, it was determined that I had a rapidly enlarging breast mass which demonstrated invasive ductal carcinoma.  I was devastated!

I agreed to start chemotherapy. My first treatment left me with the negative things expected with chemotherapy: feeling sick in the stomach-nauseated, constipated, lack of energy and unable to eat. I felt really bad but didn’t know how to explain things.

Prior to my second treatment I met with Ida regarding my diagnosis and her program.  She was very sympathetic, listened, kind and patient.  In the meeting she addressed any concerns I had about the program; I agreed to give it a try.  After indulging Ida’s program the nausea went away and I was no longer constipated. My energy returned and I could eat again. I thank GOD for blessing Ida with the knowledge to help me in such a crucial time in my life.

My family planned a trip to New Orleans in June 2021. I decided that I would get a mammogram before the trip. I had not had a mammogram for at least two years and decided it was time.

When we returned home from vacation in New Orleans, I received a call from my doctor.  Of course, I wondered why because I had already had the test done a couple of weeks before.  He said that he saw something in my Mammogram results.  He wanted me to get another mammogram done to be sure.  Through the years,  I have occasionally had mammogram results come back as abnormal because of scar tissue as result of my Mastitis (milk ducts in the breast becoming infected) after the birth of my first child 35 years ago.  Mastitis normally affects women who are pregnant, or women who have recently given birth. In my case, I had recently given birth and did not breastfeed my Daughter.  The pills given to me to stop the milk flow did not agree with me and the milk became infected in my breast. It was very painful.  My doctor ordered a mammogram for me.   At age 21 I was diagnosed with Mastitis.  Six years later, I became Pregnant with my son. I had my next Mastitis flare up when my son was nine years old. I had emergency surgery to release the pain and one more painful flare up after that.

I had the 2nd screening Mammogram for malignant neoplasm of the left breast.  Soon after a biopsy was done I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer Stage 1 in October 2021.  They explained that there was a small 1cm mass (less than the size of a green pea). There were more tests taken within the next few weeks.  My surgery, lumpectomy, was scheduled for December 2, 2021.  A lot of prayer and the support of my family really helped during this journey; it went well.

This experience was not something that I wanted to share, but I felt that I could talk to Ms. Lambert about what was happening in my life.  I told her that the Oncologist recommended chemotherapy sessions and then radiation therapy. I had not gone through my first treatment when we talked.  That Friday I started chemotherapy. This had me feel extremely fatigued, my appetite had decreased a lot, I was extremely constipated and I was also experiencing neuropathy in my feet.

I told Ms. Lambert how the chemo was making me feel. She told me about her Journey2health business and asked if I would like more information about it.  I agreed. She introduced me to some intelligent strategies to ease my suffering as I continued the treatments. After using the strategies Ms. Lambert shared with me my fatigue left. My appetite returned; I had no more trouble eating.  The constipation left so I no longer felt bloated and uncomfortable and the neuropathy I once felt went away. I didn’t have to miss any time away from work except for scheduled doctor’s appointments. The feelings that I had expressed that occurred during chemotherapy sessions had all gone away. Using these strategies I was blessed with smooth chemo and radiation sessions with little discomfort.  So, I can truly say that Ms Lambert was also a valuable part of my support system!

I was diagnosed with Legionnaires' disease.  There is a high mortality rate for people with the disease in one lung, but mine was in both lungs. My future did not look good. To prepare for my uncertain future, my family and friends were called to visit me while there was still time.

My time in the hospital was spent in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as the doctors attempted to put me into a medical induced coma, but I kept waking up.  The doctors had not witnessed such a dire case before so they used an experimental drug to clear the infection in my lungs; it worked but I felt hollow.  My family and friends gathered at the hospital to show their love and support; and prayers came from loved ones near and far.  My husband was at my side and did what he could; Ida began her coaching.  After applying her coaching I suddenly had feeling from the neck down; I could move my hands. The more her coaching was applied the stronger I felt.

After weeks of receiving the medication I could not hold food on my stomach; the staff was concerned.  Ida’s coaching came into play once again and before long I was eating normally and finally released from the hospital.  Since I had been bedridden for so long, the doctors believed that, in order for me to walk again, that I would need therapy to re-build strength in my legs so a private therapist was sent to my home. But after one visit he saw how well my limbs were operating and was amazed; he declared: “you do not need a therapist; there is no need for an extended care facility stay.   Your limbs are working perfectly. I have no doubt; Ida’s guidance had made all the difference.

I had a horrible case of mononucleosis. I went to the hospital and was given multiple medications. Unfortunately the medications made my symptoms worse.   Unable to help me the hospital sent me home.

At home I sat listless, lethargic, and despondent uncertain as to what my next steps should be.

I sought coaching from Ms. Lambert on a natural approach to regaining my health.  I began to feel better in a matter of hours.  I will never forget how helpful she was and will be forever grateful!
